I have asked my guest blogger to tell us something about their web magazine. It is called, “GOD’Z GURLZ WEB MAGAZINE”

God’z Gurlz is a Bible-based online magazine that caters to women’s issues such as managing emotions, marriage, parenthood, business, profession, education, relationships, health, finances, and other related concerns. It aims to connect women from all walks of life, regardless of background, race, culture, and status.
Our articles are written with our fellow women in mind.

We believe that while women may have different backgrounds and experiences, there are common things that connect all of us. These are our needs, wants, dreams, desires, hurts, and pains. Our webmag is meant to share with our fellow-women our own journey … to encourage them, to give them hope, and to simply be a friend and sister.
While we are here to understand where women are coming from, we are also here to help lead them to where they should go. While we are here to comfort them, we are also here to help pull them out of darkness. While we are here to accept them for who they are, we are also here to show them the “truth” that will set them free.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of God’z Gurlz is to provide a place where women can learn to manage their emotions, experience healing, receive love and acceptance, be free to be who God made them to be, and be the best they can be in their homes, schools, professions, relationships, and calling, through sharing of insights and experiences, counseling, prayer, and devotionals, thereby learning from and supporting each other.
HISTORY
God’z Gurlz sprouted from a bigger vision that founder Lisa Maki has had for these past years … a vision to reach out to women and empower them. This vision emanated from what Lisa herself went through and how she overcame.
Lisa understands the pain and hurt that women have. She also knows that this is a common ground for women regardless of where they come from. Every woman out there has been through issues of abandonment, rejection, or abuse. It may come in different forms but it is still what it is. Women were created as emotional beings. Unfortunately, these emotions, when unmanaged, can lead to the woman’s downfall. And learning to manage emotions is one of the key factors of God’z Gurlz’ mission.
