The simple answer is: Healing is always the Kingdom Way.

Remember these three things about healing:

God is not the author of sickness. (Acts 10:38)
God is the author of health. (1 Pet 2:24)
Satan is the author of ALL sickness and disease. (John 10:10)

The dividing line of the Bible is The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy, I (Jesus) have come to give you abundant life. (John 10:10)

Jesus did not use His godly powers to heal. (Luke 4:18-21) He put aside His godly powers and became in the likeness of sinful flesh (2 Cor 5:20). He came to earth as a man so He could redeem man (John 1:1-4,14). He healed and did signs, wonders and miracles because He was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power. (Acts 10:38) The same Holy Spirit we are to receive in order to walk in power (Luke 24:49). For more information and scripture on this subject, read chapter 15 on raising the dead.

JESUS HEALS

I like to refer to this scripture as the 911 scripture, because Luke was a doctor and it is scripture. Luke 9:11…and healed those WHO HAD NEED of HEALING!

Jesus ministered because of the Holy Spirit… and power and went around doing good HEALING ALL who were OPPRESSED by the DEVIL for God was with Him. Acts 4:18,10:38

He cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying: He Himself took our infirmities (diseases) and bore our sicknesses. (Matt 8:16)

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness – by whose stripes you were healed. (1 Pet 2:24)

Then Jesus went about…teaching… preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Matt 9:35)

And as many as touched Him were made perfectly well. (Matt 14:36)

A great crowd…came to hear him and be healed of their diseases as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits, And they were healed… and He healed them all. (Luke 6:17-19)

DISCIPLES HEAL

Then He called His twelve disciples …and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases…so they…went preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. (Luke 9:1-2)

The Lord appointed seventy others and sent them out… and said to them …heal the sick there. (Luke 10:1,9)

WE HEAL

Let me make something clear right here. Some people would argue that Jesus could heal people and do signs and wonders because He is God. That is NOT TRUE!

These four scripture will show you He came to earth AS a MAN and did everything He did as A MAN, NOT GOD

Jesus became a man and did everything He did as a man anointed with the Holy Spirit and power.

Jms 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
Luke 4:2,13 Being forty days tempted of the devil… Jesus … And when the devil had ended all the temptation.
Heb 4:15 … Jesus… was in all points tempted as we are.
Rom 8:3 …God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh,

Jesus ministered because God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit… and power and went around doing good, HEALING ALL who were OPPRESSED by the DEVIL for God was with Him. Acts 10:38. It said, “God was WITH Him” He was with Him by the Holy Spirit just like He is with us.

John 20:21 “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” … He breathed on them, and said to them, “RECEIVE the Holy Spirit…”

Go into all the world and preach the gospel… and these signs will follow those that believe. In My Name they will cast out demons…they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. (Mark 16:15-18)

Jesus CHRIST is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb 13:8)

God has provided healing for you. You need to receive it.
You can receive healing at whatever faith level you are on.
Receive your healing by faith, not feelings.
Use the laying on of hands as a point of contact to release your faith to receive.
Remember healing is already given, but it isn’t always received.
Come expecting, not begging or pleading.
I’ll stand in faith with you on your healing. It’s yours now.
Obey your doctor and let him confirm your healing.

SEVEN WAYS TO RECEIVE HEALING God’s way

Laying on of hands. Mark 16:15-18
Anointing with oil. Jms 5:14,
Prayer of faith. Jms 5:15
Speak the Word. Rom 10:9, Mark 11:24
Prayer of agreement. Matt 18:19
Gift of miracles. Acts 19:11, 1 Cor 12:10
Gift of healing. 1 Cor 12:9

THE ANOINTED ONE AND HIS ANOINTED

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the broken hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, set at liberty the oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. TODAY this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing. (Luke 4:18)

Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power and went about healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38)

Peace to you, as the Father has sent me, I also send you, receive the Holy Spirit. (John 20:21)

You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be a witness to me. (Acts 1:8)

With great power they gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 4:33)

The Lord…stretch forth your hand to heal that signs and wonders may be done. (Acts 4:28)

Preaching… with demonstration of the Spirit and of power…so your faith is in the power of God. (1 Cor 2:4-5)

HEALING AND SALVATION, ALL ONE PACKAGE

I will bless the Lord, and will not forget all His benefits! He forgives my sins, He heals all my diseases. He redeems me from destruction. He crowns me with love and mercy. He satisfies my mouth with good and renews my youth like the eagle’s. (Ps 103:2-5)

Surely He has borne our sickness and carried our sorrows…. He was wounded for our transgressions, (rebellion) He was crushed for our sins: The chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed. (Is 53:4-5)

Himself bore my sins in His own body on the tree, that having died to sins, might live for righteousness, by whose stripes (wounds) I was healed. (1 Pet 2:24)

EXAMPLES:

Jesus said to the PARALYTIC, son your SINS are forgiven you…. arise and go home. (Mark 2:5)

I want my SIGHT… Go, your faith has SAVED you… (he) received his sight. (Mark 10:52)

The prayer of faith will SAVE the SICK and the Lord will raise him up. And if he committed any SINS he will be forgiven. (Jms 5:15)

What is easier to say: your sins be forgiven, or rise up and walk?… go home (healed). (Luke 5:23-24)

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things, and be in HEALTH just as your soul prospers. (3John 2:1)

God wants us all healed and healthy, and He is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb 13:8)

They brought to Him many who were demon-possessed and He cast out the spirits with a word and healed ALL who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying: “He Himself took our diseases and bore our sickness.” (Matt 8:16-17)
